Just in time for the 4th of July, Nashville Hall of Fame Country Legend, Jeffrey Steele released a protest, all-American song that will inspire backyard patriots across the country this weekend.

Brittbart reports that Steele released a new patriotic single titled “I’m an American” just in time for July 4th. In an interview with Britbert News, the acclaimed lyricist spoke of his frustration with the state of affairs in the country under the current administration and wrote the song as an appeal to patriotism despite the country’s current deterioration and the growing anti-American attitude of the left.
Steele – who wrote hit songs for Rascal Flats such as “What Hearts the Most,” “My Wish,” and “This Day”, as well as solo songs for Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, and Miley Cyrus. Alex Marlowe, editor-in-chief of the Sirius XM Patriot 125’s Britbert News Daily, told Britbert: “It’s okay to be American, it’s not a bad thing. This is an amazing, great thing. It’s kind of like that. “

The message “I am an American” is silently patriotic and defensive in spirit. The single left called for the Left’s efforts to destroy American institutions and sow the seeds of division – “I’m tired of letting people down / it’s like they want a civil war.”

Earlier this year, Steele released the single “Walk Towards the Fire” in honor of the late Andrew Bretbert on the tenth anniversary of his death, which he co-authored with Brittbert’s own John Kane.
