I can’t keep up with the stories that are coming out. A 19-year-old boy has just died on the Netflix show – “cause unknown.” The 17-year-old daughter of a Dame representative went to bed and never woke up – “because the unknown.”

A 26-year-old basketball star has died suddenly – “the cause is unknown.”

A 34-year-old bride died in her sleep the night before her wedding – “the cause is known.”

The list goes on, folks.

There are many “sudden deaths” that have a new name attached to them: SADS or “sudden adult death syndrome.”

And now, I have another young death to report … this time it’s a 26 year old NFL player.

He died, and the cause of his death was again “unknown.”

The New York Post reports that Revenge linebacker Jelon Ferguson has died at the age of 26, the team announced Wednesday morning.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Jelon Ferguson,” the party said in a statement. “He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and a contagious personality.”

Ferguson, who starred in Louisiana Tech, was Ravens’ third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Baltimore Ravens LB Jelon Ferguson. The family asks for your prayers and privacy during this difficult time, “Ferguson’s agent, Safarah Lawson, told NFL.com.

Ferguson has played 38 games in three seasons, including 62 tackles and 4 1/2 sacks.

None of this is normal.

Now, I don’t pretend to be a doctor or know anything about the medical history of these people, but one should look at all these deaths and see if there is a “commonality” between them … and I think we all know That’s what I mean, aren’t we?

My heart goes out to this young man’s family, and I hope and pray that they will find answers and find peace in this difficult time.
