Remember Greta van Susteren, don’t you?
Earlier in the day, she was the only woman on Fox News who didn’t look like a blonde pinup model.
And many believe that he got the boot but the truth was much more annoying than that.
It was a contract negotiation fight and Greta left.

From CNN:
A sharp knock on the door indicates that Greta Van Susteren’s time on the Fox News Channel is over.
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, a courier arrived at Van Susteren’s home in Washington, D.C., with two letters in his hand stating that Van Susteren was being “immediately removed from the air,” according to her husband, John Coyle, a high-profile Washington resident. Lawyers.Van Susteren was already planning to leave, but he thought he would host his 7 pm program “On the Record” for a few more weeks.
Leaving him in the air without a chance to say goodbye was “a little immature,” Coyle remarked.
It was also a message from Rupert Murdoch.
Van Susteren has been one of Fox News’ top anchors for the past 14 years.
Murdoch, the father of 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox, disliked his recent attempt to renegotiate his contract, and the unusual courier visit resulted in him being interviewed for the story, a source said.
The messy breakup is the latest sign of excitement – “chaos,” according to Coyle – behind the scenes on Fox News.
He briefly went to MSNBC, but only stayed there for 6 months.
But he’s making a comeback, this time at Newsmax.

The Daily Caller reports that the new hire will host “Record with Greta Van Susteren” which is set to premiere on June 14, the network reported. Van Susteren has been asked to “lead the lineup of the network” with a “realistic, fair and independent approach to the news”.
Van Susteren says he was given “freedom to cover the news” by his friend Newsmax CEO Chris Rudy, the network reported.
“With everything going on in the world, I’m going back to my roots – a daily live news show with real reports from where things are happening,” says Van Susteren. “I’ve been friends. [Newsmax CEO] Chris Rudy for years, and he’s given me this great opportunity to come back, giving me complete freedom to cover news that really matters to people. I’m impressed with the Newsmax team and their success, and want to be part of a news network that’s really growing. “
Greater new show will replace Shawn Spicer’s show – but don’t worry, he’s not going anywhere … just a change of time slot.
