As you probably know, SCOTUS hit Rowe vs. Wade. It’s been a long time coming. Even Joe Biden voted in 1981 to make it happen.

With anti-abortion president Ronald Reagan in power and Republicans in control of the Senate for the first time in decades, social conservatives pushed for a constitutional amendment to allow individual states to repeal Rowe v. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that aborted. Legal nationwide a few years ago.

The amendment – dubbed the National Abortion Rights Action League’s “yet most devastating attack on the right to abortion” – cleared a key hurdle in the Senate Judiciary Committee in March 1982. Support came not only from Republicans, but also from the 39-year-old, second-term Democrat: Joseph R. Biden Jr..

“I’m probably a victim, or a product, but you want to say it in my background,” Mr. Biden, a Roman Catholic, said at the time. He said the decision was “the hardest vote I’ve ever had as a U.S. senator.”

The bill never reached the full Senate, and when it returned the following year, Mr. Biden voted against it. Her backwardness over abortion will become a feature of her political career.

Sorry, woman, but you don’t have a “constitutional right” to abortion. And abortion is not “healthcare”. It’s gross. Stop using it as “birth control” and either buy some condoms for your friend, or take birth control. It is available literally everywhere and works 99.9999 percent of the time.
