A vegan mother faces life in prison for starving her child to death

I could hardly bring myself to read this story. It’s very uncomfortable, but I decided it was important, not just for me to read it, but for others as well, because maybe it could get some people back into reality.

I’m a millennial and I see a lot of this vegan online from people my age, and what was once just a fad or fringe lifestyle decision has become almost “religious”.

It is everywhere… that is, everywhere.

There are many big social media influencers who are pushing this “raw vegetarian food” and it is not healthy.

I’m sorry, it’s not.

This “extreme” spectrum is not healthy in any way. All these crazy carnivores who eat only meat are nuts, and all these insane vegans, who only eat raw fruits and vegetables, are also salt.

People should eat a balanced diet, and if you don’t want to do that as an adult, you should eat in a healthy, balanced way with lots of calories if you have kids.

Because if they don’t and they die of malnutrition, you can go to jail for the rest of your life… and I promise you, no one in prison will keep your promise of stupid food.

This is exactly what happened to a vegan mother who literally starved her young child to death on a crazy diet of only raw fruits and vegetables.

Now, justice has won, and that extremely irresponsible mother will go to prison, probably for the rest of her life.

Good salvation.

The New York Post reports that a Florida vegetarian mother has been convicted of killing her 18-month-old son after feeding him only raw fruits and vegetables.

Sheila O’Leary, 39, is facing life in prison after a jury found her guilty of murder and child abuse in 2019, the News Press reported.

Her youngest son weighed only 17 pounds – an average of seven pounds less – when his parents noticed that he had stopped breathing.

O’Leary and her husband, Ryan O’Leary, told police that Ezra followed a strict vegan diet – but was also breastfed.

They said the boy had not eaten about a week before his death and was having trouble sleeping.

An autopsy found that the little boy had died of malnutrition complications.

Prosecutors accused the mother of failing to get proper medical care for her son when she realized he was ill.

“She chose to ignore her cries,” Assistant State Attorney Sarah Miller said during her final argument.

“It doesn’t take a scale to see his bones. It doesn’t take a scale to hear her cry.

Her husband is going to be tried on exactly the same charge.

Let’s hope the same justice is waiting for him.
